Antoni Pons Parramon opened a small factory where he produced typical footwear of the era: espadrilles made of rope and rubber and leather boots. These were the first products of the Toni Pons brand, which were handcrafted in Osor, a small village near Girona.
Antoni Pons Jr., at the age of 18, joined the company with the clear vision of expanding the brand, until then a local brand, internationally. With the recent relocation of the Toni Pons headquarters to the city of Girona, the brand entered the French market, where it achieved great recognition among the French public. Jordi Pons, the third generation to lead the Toni Pons family, joined the company in 2012 to continue its growth. In 2021, Toni Pons celebrates its 75th anniversary.
